Tucked away in the picturesque town of Trentham, we craft simple and sustainable beeswax candles, polishes and waxes and Japanese Chakoro incense tea blends.

Our Story
Based in the small township of Trentham in Victoria's Central Highlands, we are fortunately located in a region known for being a nature lover’s paradise, a foodie haven and a cool climate gardener's sanctuary.
After much exploration, research, and experimentation, I discovered a new pursuit in line with the local Trentham lifestyle: crafting 100% rainwater filtered, natural, pure beeswax candles and beeswax products. Investing time to develop products in partnership with local businesses and artisans in the area ensures products that are both unique and of good quality.
This marked the beginning of the Apian Candle journey…
Our Mission
Natural, sustainable and reusable
Whether you live in the city or countryside, in a house or an apartment, we believe everyone deserves to be surrounded by natural beauty.
Each candle is handcrafted using pure, organic Australian beeswax and premium, natural essential oils delivering unique and subtle scent profiles. Clean-burning and free from toxins, our candles are designed to enhance your living spaces and serve multiple purposes, from neutralising cooking odours to promoting relaxation, and even providing relief from the common cold.
Our outer packaging is made locally & sustainably, with presentation boxes doubling as mailing boxes, reducing duplication in packaging. Candle vessels are reusable with refills available across the entire candle range. Aluminium tins for waxes and polish are able to be repurposed once cleaned.
Support Local
By choosing Apian Candles, you support local Aussie bee farmers and their communities—not to mention the hard-working bees themselves! We take pride in being part of a community that values sustainability and natural beauty.
Thank you for visiting Apian Candles. We hope you enjoy our creations as much as we love crafting them for you!
We respectfully acknowledge and extend our appreciation to the Dja Dja Wurrung People, the Traditional owners of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respect to the First Nations Peoples and their elders, past, present and future.
